It is an innovative, effective, and safe approach based on Adipose-Derived Stem Cells (ADSCs) obtained from your fat.
HAIRSKILL treatment is effective only if the bulb is not irreversibly compromised. For this reason, the procedure is recommended for those people who are not surgical candidates because they are too young, or are in the early phase of hair loss.
Thanks to the regenerative properties of stem cells, early HAIRSKILL treatment can be effective also against androgenetic alopecia.
First results become evident in 1 month, and they gradually improve over time.
The therapy with adipose-derived stem cells makes hair transplant easier because it strengthens and prepares the scalp before the transplant, and stimulates the engraftment in the bulb.
Note: the effectiveness of the treatment is subject to genetics, skin condition, age and lifestyle factors. For these reasons it will vary from individual to individual.
HAIRSKILL is based on the injection of mesenchymal stem cells obtained from your adipose tissue (ADSCs). The procedure is rapid and painless.
Collection
20cc of fat are collected in a simple outpatient procedure (fast and painless).
Extraction and Expansion
Stem cells are extracted from collected fat at Bioscience Institute’s laboratories.
Stem cells are expanded in about 3-4 weeks, producing about 20 cell vials. Part of these cells will be used in the desired treatment (or in multiple treatments).
HAIRSKILL treatment
Expanded cells are injected in the treatment area. Here, they release specific growth factors lengthening the anagen phase (growth), and promote hair regeneration.
Cryopreservation
At the customer’s request it is possible to cryopreserve unused vials for 3 years. Cryopreservation warrants the possibility of utilizing expanded cells in new and future Regenerative Medicine treatments.
