LIPOSKILL procedure involves the collection of a very small amount of fat tissue (only 20 cc), the extraction of adipose-derived stem cells, their expansion for about 2 weeks, and their injection in the treatment area. Extraction and expansion are carried out at Bioscience Institute’s cell factories (San Marino or Dubai) and expanded cells can be cryopreserved for future Regenerative Medicine treatments.
LIPOSKILL Procedure
LIPOSKILL treatments are based on the injection of mesenchymal stem cells obtained from the patient's own fat tissue
LIPOSKILL procedure is rapid and painless:
(1) Collection
20cc of fat are collected in a simple outpatient procedure (fast and painless).
(2) Extraction and Expansion
Stem cells are extracted from collected fat at Bioscience Institute’s laboratories.
Stem cells are expanded in about 12 days, producing about 20 cell vials. Part of these cells will be used in the desired treatment (or in multiple treatments).
(3) Treatment
Expanded cells are injected in the treatment area. Here, they release specific growth factors and promote tissue regeneration.
(4) Cryopreservation
At the customer’s request it is possible to cryopreserve unused vials for 3 years. Cryopreservation warrants the possibility of utilizing expanded cells in new and future treatments.
